MilliMark vs MacroFactor Nutrition: what do you want to track?

Compare MacroFactor Nutrition’s coaching focus with MilliMark’s lifting, food and progress workflow.

Compare the right products

This page compares MilliMark with MacroFactor Nutrition. MacroFactor also offers a separate Workouts product; a comparison of its nutrition app alone is not a review of that whole range. MacroFactor Nutrition’s official documentation describes food logging, expenditure estimates and check-ins that can adjust nutrition targets. Its dashboard also includes weight trends and detailed nutrient information. That is a specific coaching workflow worth understanding before choosing.

What MilliMark is built around

MilliMark puts the day’s plan and planned workout beside nutrition and water on Home. Workout logging and manual training programs are free, along with workout history, the exercise library, a rest timer, optional cloud records backup and sync, and local export. Nutrition targets, meals and food logging are Pro features. Pro also includes generated training plans, body trends and photos, Calendar and training partners. Those are the current access boundaries; this comparison does not change them.

A nutrition target is not the same as adaptive coaching

MilliMark can organize your targets and recorded food. It should not be described as matching MacroFactor’s expenditure algorithm or automatic weekly coaching. If that particular adaptive process is the feature you want, assess MacroFactor Nutrition directly. If you mainly want lifting and food records in the same daily workflow, try how MilliMark presents those together and decide whether it reduces the work of keeping your records.

Check the details of logging

Use a meal you actually repeat. Try finding a packaged product, checking its serving size and logging a different amount. A barcode result is still something to review against the package. In MilliMark, USDA foods and Open Food Facts products retain separate sources, and scanned text does not automatically become a saved meal. No database contains every food in every market, so a usable manual entry path matters too.

Choose after a normal week

Compare the effort of logging ordinary meals, checking your training record and finding a weight trend. Consider how each tool backs up the information you want to keep. MilliMark’s cloud records backup is optional, requires sign-in and consent, and excludes progress photos; keep a full file export for those. Create a free email account to start workout logging. Nutrition is a Pro feature; if a trial is available, MilliMark shows its terms before you start.
