Two different starting points
Symmetry’s official app listing describes personalized training plans, AI body scans and training progress features. Its ranks page describes comparisons of strength for bodyweight across exercises and muscle groups. Those are the developer’s descriptions of its product, not independent proof that a scan diagnoses an imbalance or that a ranking predicts your results. If those features interest you, try them with that distinction in mind.
MilliMark starts with your answers and records
MilliMark brings a daily plan, a workout log and optional nutrition and progress tools together. Free includes workout tracking, manual programs, workout history, the exercise library, a rest timer, optional cloud records backup and sync, and local export. Pro adds generated plans, nutrition, body trends and photos, Calendar and partners. You can start logging with a free account and decide later whether you need the paid features.
Look at the actual session
A plan matters most when you can use it in the gym. Try entering an exercise, recording a working set and correcting a load. Check how the next set and rest timer behave. Then find the completed session and compare it with an earlier one. MilliMark’s load suggestion remains a suggestion: your saved set should describe the work you did, rather than an intended number you did not complete.
Do not confuse a picture with a diagnosis
MilliMark lets you keep and compare progress photos; this is different from claiming that a photo proves body composition or identifies a condition. Consistent lighting and framing help you compare images, but neither a photo nor a leaderboard rank explains why something changed. Use your training history and the other records you chose to collect as context. This comparison does not claim that either app guarantees a particular physique.
Pick the useful amount of feedback
Symmetry may appeal if its scan and ranking approach is what you want. MilliMark may fit if you want a daily place for lifting, food and progress, with a free workout log to begin. MilliMark is an installable web app, not a native store download. Keep a full export before moving records or clearing browser data. A paid membership and a safely saved backup are separate things; choose each deliberately.
